this are some belgian points of entrance to the rivers in Wallony. Be carefull!! you have to be a member of the belgian kayak federation to get access to most of them.

Line 3414 from the csv file for Europe has an error apparently? The gpx file wouldnt load onto my garmin either.

That line looks perfectly normal to me. What exactly is the error message then?

It just said 'There is an error on line 3414, only able to add 3413 entries.'.

I am using a mac to load onto my Garmin would that have affected it in any way?

it's not like the memory card of your garmin ran out of space right? would be interesting to see what is on your line 3414. you can open that csv file in bbedit (i think that's the typical mac text editor?), or mail your csv file to jeroen at playak dot c om and i'll have a look.

Line 3414 looks perfectly normal, the only thing is although I downloaded the Europe versions it seems to contain all the American points as well? My Garmin only supports Europe so wondered if this might be the issue?

Could you send me a copy of the correct file to rjbinns at gmail dot c om to see if that works any better?

I have the same problem with the "line 3414" when I try to upload POl on my Garmin /with Europe maps/ .
What is the solution ?

at this moment i'm trying to import the data into 'locus' an app for android (maybe also iphone, dunno). It is navigation software. the advantage is the abbility to use openstreetmap for your navigation, the disadvantage is that you need internet connection to find your destination turn by turn. however if you want to use is as a normal map, offline works fine.

you can see where you are using your gps in phone and the POI are also shown normally. I'll reply again to see if it works with this big amount of POI's :p

might be a good idea to do some filtering.

would it be possible to no longer say 'Europe', but 'France' and 'Germany' and 'Corsica' fex?

because it takes a long time to search this big amount of data and most of it is useless when you're nog going there.
