First of all...
I apologise for not being online much but I havent got a computer at the mo (I now have much better access to one though)...

Anyway

Im putting cash aside to make a trip to the White Nile... Sometime around Dec-Feb ish (no set plan)

When is a good time to go and is anybody going to be there/want to go there to padddle???

Heya!
Good man, go to the Nile, catch it before the dam is finished!...
You may want to get in touch with Jammie at kayakthenile.com (or anyone else from that outfit for the matter). All the info, waterlevels, parties, shuttles etc.
Normally there are allways people to padlle with around the camp, and the place has been growing in popularity. So, I don't think you'll feel lonely.
I myself plan to be there end of September - October - ish :roflol:

Awesome... Thanks for the info...

Havent been there yet but I cant stop thinking about the place... Is there any time to go that is better then others??? busier time of year etc?

The waterlevel is dam-controlled by the OwenFalls dam (it is just above the section where you'll spend most of your time), so the action is on all year round. Normally it is better just after the rainy season (I think). It is also generally nicer - easier to get around without too much of the famous ugandan red mud (you will remember the red mud!). I'd say, the biggest worry about going there is the malaria - but it is manageable.
