I would go for the black, only because the logo stands out more and it is not shiny like the white. In other words, if you want it to be shiny, get the white, but if you want it to be a matte-like finish, get the black.

If you are worried about being cold, then black may be the way to go to get just a little extra warmth on the noggin. White is, of course, more visible, so that would be a plus on the white side of the board. :ask: Black is sexier, but I guess the true, womanly question would be...wait for it guys... :stop: What color is your boat? :daisy: ;) Decisions, decisions...

I would never buy a piece of gear based on the color of my kayak. I don't want to replace my gear every few years whenever I get a new kayak. I say just ignore your other gear and get what you think looks good and is comfortable.

The goldy yellow looks kinda cool.....

Just match your gear.

Black Gear, Black helmet... :)

I like the way nobody is trouncing this one..... Do all WW Kayakers match their gear / worry about colours !?

Personally i would get the snugger one, I have used the M/L as my head is 59cm and do not use any fit pads, the L/Xl with the fit pads is not snug enough. Also I have found the Strutter warm enough without a skull cap, but I can get a skell cap under with the M/L so no need to go up a size. A helmet needs to fit securly and snug to protect you.

Colour wise its personal preference but I have a nice shiny Blue one now, but do like the White and Purple also. It is personal preference and you should choose which ever you like.

Hope this helps,

Sweet is currently updating their website, as well as introducing the 08/09 models, so you have to go to the helmets page without going to their homepage first. Here is the link for the Strutter: www.sweet.no/helmets_strutter.htm . If you click on helmet graphics directly above the word Colours, you can see the back. Make sure you select the white before you click on it, or you will get the wrong graphics. Also, the LS looks pretty cool, as far as graphics go.
