Its made by the Canadian company FNA Head Gear, Not Ce approved so you wil have to order from the other side of the pond, remember you may get caught by customs which will add 22% import duty before adding 17.5% VAT but then again you may not get caught, but worth keeping that money to one side just incase.

Personally I would get what ever helmet fitted you the best.

If you stay in a country where the shops already sell cool gear, then get from them. B) (And you do...)

But for someone like me, I've had to import a lot of my gear and when the tax man sees that, he punishes me. SOMETIMES small items sneak through, but generally they hammer you. To put it into Pound terms, after shipping/tax/clearing agents/bad luck and all other nonsense I paid about 350 Pounds for my one dry top, and recently a 380 US Dollar paddle ended up costing me 300 Pounds. DHL shipping alone was hefty - but it only took a few days!

Again, I agree with Chris, get something that fits you well. It's Ed Smiths helmet in the pics.

Just make sure it fits you before buying one jsut case it looks cool , several freinds have tried the Strutter but is the wrong shape for their heads :beat:, but SR fits or Happy 2b do. So don't just go with the coolest lookign helmet you only have one head its worth protecting well my :2cents: :iamwithstup

Right Im knackered after long session at the Bitches and off paddling tomorow :)

Have you looked at the Shred Ready FMJ (Full Mental Jacket)? Also, look at the Head Trip line of helmets. They are expensive, but not as much as a Strutter. NRS sells a bill for 10 USD, so you could get a SR Tdub w/ a visor and it would be $135. The Predator Lee is normally only 90 USD max. here's a few links:

Also, you might want to get a HOG lock for $20.

if you want one with a face mask, look at a WRSI Current or a Cascade.

The nice thing about WRSI is that there are so many add-ons you can get, including the face guard and ear flaps.
