Is retro back? :P I'm not a big fan of that pink/yellow stuff but it's a shame more manufacturers don't make different coloured spraydecks. Maybe some red/blue/yellow/GREEN  decks would be awesome!

What does everyone else think? :cheer:

Electric water out of Australia www.electricwater.com.au makes bomber skirts and have seen them in yellow, red , blue, purple etc... They will ship anywhere. Another note on Electric water skirts, unlike most skirt makers that sell one or two sizes, EW makes their skirts to fit the different cockpit sizes. Every boat made has slightly different dimentions. They have a chart of almost every boat made. The also do custom sizes for those who still shape their own boats.

Seals also offer colour options, but colours fade and start looking dull quite after time. Also if your buying a roll of Neoprene in Black and you made all your decks out of it, your overheads will be dramatically smaller than offering each deck in 2 or 4 colours, more outley on materials and a bit of a risk you could end up with a lot of fetching Pink neoprene

Ja Chris... ;) Of course they fade. But so does black. I've got 2 old decks which looks grey now, not black... Even your hair (if you have, unlike me) will turn grey. By the time my stuff starts to fade, I either sell it and get something new or it is beyond selling and goes into retirement. I know I'm a bit of a gear whore but I wouldn't go creeking with a manky old deck anyway. So to me, fading colours aren't a problem. Aren't you glad we're all different? :woohoo:

Of course, if kayak manufacturers only offered their boats in one colour it would make their lives a LOT easier. But it's what the customer wants. B) So I was just curious to hear what other people thought. What the customer needs/wants is the most important, I think. Without him/her, there is no business. And no, I have no intentions of manufacturing any kayaking equipment. :)

Hey Adrien if you want a couple more cool links for the site check out these.

For "guiding Lodgeing" ect. www.bhutanwhitewatertours.com I am still working to add more pic's of the rivers but an awesome paddling destination. Company is run by a young paddler named Rinchen Dorji. He is a comitted paddler in a country that doen's really understand paddling. He has a full fleet of Bliss-Stick Creekers. There are tons of unrun rivers in this little Himilyan country. It really is a unknown paridise.

For manufactures www.surgehelmets.co.nz make an awesome creeking helmet called the bonk. They also make a paddles

For "Shops" in Japan, Kob is a great guy and commited paddler. His shop is www.go-insane.com

Take care.

Nice to see people interested in color, I am a metalhead and therefore should dress in black, but I don't, becous I love some nice colors and speciali the designs.

WW kayaking is a great awsome sport, so like surfing and snowboarding, kayakers coud develop their own wicked style, to add some feeling to the art of padeling. And DUEM STUFF is a great idol to do that. I have allso tested it's equipment and it reali works, it is good qualiti, made with love by kajakers, for kayakers.

The spray decks that you see at the top are made for slalom boats, please check out this page to witnes the whole thing

www.duemstuff.com

You can allso order a custom spray deck like at EW, but qualiti can't be alwais achived by just a quick description of the boat, sometimes you have to bring the boat.

A black deck is fine by me. I save yellow for my helmet and boat.
