In Switzerland there is also the real stuff falling - so you get it in stereo - both on the LCD screen and outside through the window. Took me about 1 hour to dig the car out this morning! Think I'll leave the boat in the shed tomorrow!

Holy crap! No problems like that this side. Shorts, no t-shirt, no shoes. I just managed an awesome windsurfing session on the sea - sun is shining, wind is blowing... Ahhhh, good times :woohoo:

Wish we could get some snow here in Montana--sucky start to the season so far. Guess I'll have to content myself with watching the fake stuff fall on playak. Seems that's as close as I'll get for a while. :(

I'm with you...what's snow ;)?

I find the snow on this website racist towards those of us who don't get snow

And what about Australian and Kiwi paddlers? - they get playak snow in summer! - having said that popular stereotyping says that they scoff their turkeys on the beach at Xmas, so guess they are well used to being out of sync with the rest of us.

What's turkey? :P :) (sarcasm in case I didn't make it obvious) Aren't you glad we're all different! :woohoo: Makes life so much more interesting...

I don't know--seems pretty "equal opportunity" to me--sharing/including everyone no matter their nation of origin  Playak just wants everyone to feel included ;) Sort of seems the opposite of racist to me :silly:

What if Playak was set up so snow would occur during winter in the Northern Hemisphere, but also during winter in the southern hemisphere, based on your map location?

Wouldn't change much, we NEVER get snow. Maybe we could just have a giant sun hovering in the middle of the page :silly:

You could always just hold up a magnet to your screen and get a nice, big, irremovable spot on your screen:woohoo: .

The closest I'm going to get to snow in a while is the white 'table cloth' that covers Table Mountain here... I took this shot on my way to sail at Big Bay today! Wind is blowing, sunny skies.... Good times! B)

I don't know, Adrian--that sand is white enough--you could maybe pretend that's snow. Still waiting desperately for it here... :santa:

Hmmm, you'll know when you step onto it on a windless day and suddenly you find your feeting burning, and not from the cold.

Right now it's 23:17, the sun went down around 20:00 I think. Got a t-shirt and boxers on, no shoes with the window open. I believe Africa is in my veins, now and forever.. Wouldn't want to be anywhere else in the world! :P :P :P

I heard a good saying from a female Russian climber on one of Sean Wisedale's climbing DVD's. She said, "No such thing as bad weather, only bad attitude." I like that one. B)

Hmmm, maybe it was Mugs Stump (another climber) that said "If you wait for the weather, you won't do sh#t!" Ah climbers--making the most of any weather. Life is, after all, what you make it. Point taken on the sand--I step outside right now and I'd freeze my toes off. They'd turn to solid ice.

We use that one a lot in norway!

But those of you that don't get snow, isn't it many people that spray their windows with fake snow?
Or have I just watched too many movies from america...?

Oh, this is so true--so many people do that here in the States, especially down south. It's called flocking. It's absurd when I see it here in Montana where we actually get snow. People do it to their trees, as well. Ridiculous. Flocking ridiculous, I say.

I was going to submit this snow kayaking video
then I saw Adrians picture and I wanted to cry.

Damn I'm in the wrong place. I've said it before but this is my last winter in New England.
