i can't do them but i have a good idea how 2 do them.

Cartwheel so u r balancing on ur nose then start 2 push down on ur footrests but keeping your balance then go 4 it and do a normaly look which is pretty simple.

I tried doing one with someone pushing my end down. My boat is too long though :naughty:

First of all - to be able to floop you will have to be able to bow stall at will first. If you can't hold a bow stall for at least 30 seconds then forget about flooping and go away and learn how to bow stall. Once you've got that sorted, then try flooping.

The general technique is as follows:
- Get yerself up on the nose of your boat
- Start the boat bouncing gently by either using your blades to pull the nose of the boat further underwater.
- Decide what bounce your going to throw the loop on (don't wait around for ever - throw on the 3rd or 4th bounce). When you've decided to go pull the boat down as far as you can with you blades. At the same time stand up straight and jump down on your foot pegs (The goal here is to get your boat as deep into the water as possible so you get bigger air)
- As soon as you feel the boat begin to rise up out of the water jump upwards with all your strength
- As you approach the height of your jump, throw all of your weight fowards and tuck foward (try and kiss your deck)
- When you hit the water unfurl quickly and you may need to place your blades above your head stern stall style to get the boat back down properly and to stop you falling back over on top of yourself (remember there is no flow to push you back down).

After that all you need to do is get used to face planting.
Hope this helps!

Very good description on your last bounce when you are trying to get the nose of the boat as deep as possible bring your paddle out of the water so it is nearly above your head this will push the bow deeper.

i know that this may b slightly off topic but... if u have access to a swimming pool of some sorts then a good way of learning to bow stall is to fill up your boat with water (so its completly full). this allows you to easily get into a bow stall and practice/learn about how to balance as everything happens a lot slower with a boat full of water :)

i actually find in a modern boat when it is full of water there is no way to stop going over vertical and end up upside down.

I hope this helps too:

To get the boat bouncing, if you straighten your back (ie. move your head towards the rear end of the boat, you sort of stand on your feet) your boat will start to sink. If you move your head towards the water (curl up your body) the boat will start to rise. Now "all" you have to do with your paddle is keeping your balance and pump.

the descriptions on here are very good however everyone misses they key point . after you have bounced and started your loop stood up on your peggs and compressed the boat will be coming past vertical as you tuck it brings it round further so your pretty much upside down in the air. (good feeling) however heres the bit that will make it happen, after you have tucked up to bring the boat parralel with the water you need to get the tail into the water to bring you back upright otherwise you just fall on your head. to get your tail to bite you need to tottaly forget any roll or support and open your body back up. Kick your legs back away from you body. this thrusts the tail down and brings you up either in a tailstall or perfectly back up.

so once you have tucked open yourself back up, (kick heels down!)

somone told me this when i was strugling and now i can hit them every time!

happy paddling

Can you loop in a hole yet? If you can't loop in ahole then forget it. But if you can therer are a lot of other cool types of loops you can do in a pool. Here's a list of my favorites

-Go off the diving board into a loop.
-have someone on the pool side hold me up verticle and smash me down.
-and the most difficult ( no paddle). use the pool side to get verticle with out a paddle. Then once you are verticle on the poolside change your angle and shove the boat down to get a good plug then LOOP.
