I am seriously considering the Purchase of The Delta 12.10. Ive just sold my Riot 13' Enduro. Much to heavy. The Riot was advertised as being 49 lbs. Actually weighed in at 56lbs. The Delta is 43 lbs at the most.
Any comments would be welcome.

I bought a Delta 12.10 2 years ago as my first kayak and love it. Of course, I guess it depends what type of kayaking you are planning on doing. So far we've used our Deltas in lakes all across Alberta, BC, Montana and Idaho and they track great! We've also done some river kayaking but mostly in slower current waters. Very stable and like I said, excellent tracking. Comfortable adjustable seat and footrests. Love the front and rear hatches which are easy to acess and close and offer plenty of storage room for weekend trips. The other thing I love is how light they are because I only weigh in at 100 pounds but can carry mine a short distance by myself which is great! Haven't taken them out on a sea journey yet, but I am positive that they will be stable enough to check out the broken island group this summer. We've had some of our novice friends check them out and they immediately comment on how straight they track and how much stability they offer. Of course, it's my first kick at kayaking, but I love my Delta and would buy another! If you are looking for a lighter kayak, this is a great recreational kayak that is solid, stable and tracks as straight as an arrow.

Many thanks for your very descriptive feedback on the Delta 12.10. I have made the decision to buy this boat and after your comments my wife also is feeling more comfortable with the boat. Your comments were plural ie we've, Deltas. Does your partner also have a Delta and if so what model.
