First I was talking about it a lot to friends, but as they didn't know what I was talking about and weren't really interested they found it quiet boring...so don't talk a lot about it anymore, but there still isn't a day I don't think about it.

Plus, most any cool trick to a non kayaker looks easy or looks like a mistake. I paddle and all people want to see is me roll my boat... BIG DEAl. They could care less when i cartwheel or just simplly bow or stern stall. No way it should be televised!!

Kayaking is the life (everyday, everynight, anythime you see enough water to float on) of most people on this site including my self and alot of people who are not with this site, and i think most people will agree, enough time is given to Soccor/ Ruby/ GAA (normal telly) Surfing and Stakeboarding (ex) each week.

but when the national freestyle camps or the Liffey decent or the international Surf camps, etc (the list is endless) are on is there even a mention... nope not even in local papers,

Something should be done, and im sure if everyone on this site started something, it could get a reaction, both nationally and internationally.

That just my two cents!

What? AW cmon, it would be great as an olympic sport, at first people might no realise how hard and cool tricks are, but then it would begin to be more atracted to the sport. What do people want to watch more, slalom. or freestyle? (freestyle)

People are more enteratined by fun tricks. Plus if more people are buying play boats that means the price should go down!!!!
