Hi everybody,

Here in Italy there's a guy selling a Riot Freeride with bent shaft, price is 130€

Conditions seems very good and I'll have the opportunity to try it before buying.

Although is an old model I'm considering to buy it, since i have a long history of loose/broken paddle I would avoid to spend lot of money for a werner and I am looking for a nice and robust paddle with a reasonable price.

I have some concern regarding the very strange shape of blade.

Does someone used it?

Especialy now thant roit is bankrubt. you will not get a new one when it breaks.

Is it this one:

??? Seems a very expensive price. I think my mates in South Africa bought them new for less than that! I tried it once. Not the lightest of paddles. I didn't like the amount of curve the blade had either, personal preference, I know.. :) If I were you, I'd look into something else. ;) Good luck!

verry strange but here in the " low lands" (belgium and holland° have almost no White water but good prices for kayak equipment.
for kanoshop, just contact [mail address protected from spambots with javascript]
they send material toall over europe I think.
You can also look at these shops:
www.kanocenter.be

www.kajak.nl (www.kanokoopjes.nl)

www.canoe-kayak.be/

most of them have good price and service.

Wavedog?

It's the wooden paddle.
Last year i met an american guy in Greece using a wavedog.

I tried it for a while and I liked it.
It's very heavy but the feeling in water is awesome, very soft yet it has
a good power.

too bad it's a little out of budget for me

BTW it's incredible how they built a wooden paddle with bent shaft and feather angle
