Look at river-running playboats, especially models around 2001, like the Wave Sport EZ, XXX, Evo, Forplay, etc. Just look at the bow and stern, and the less volume/thinner they are, the easier they should be to bow stall. Also, the Fluid Nemesis and Flirt have relatively low-volume ends, compared to modern playboats, as well as the Liquid Logic CR series.

Any of the new playboats can be bowstalled and such when you get the skills. At your weight, you are kind of inbetween sizes. I would recommend that you size up to the medium boats so they are better for river running and doing big tricks. The wavesport project52 is probably your best bet.

thanks must get a lend of some of them boats and check them out i sat in a liquid logic cr 80 in a shop before and they are very comfortable. can't wait to get a boat that i don't have to fill with water to bowstall because if you end up going in they are a pain to roll up. any way cheers!!!

I think the CR would be holding you back some if you were looking to full on playboat. I would also check out the wavesport ZG48. Thats a perfect size for you and a nicely balanced boat.

I was figuring that the Chronic is actually kind of slicy, so he probably needs a really slicy boat. Also, having the boat outfitted for you should make a huge difference, as far as putting in knee blocks, making sure your feet are tight, having the trim of the boat right, etc. The Dagger Kingpin might also work, since the bow seems to have pretty low volume. I would think that the Nemesis should work perfectly for you. Try to get some instruction, put some water in the boat, etc.

i tried out the bigger version of that wavesport one and liked it alot and i was able to get the bow half way down so i'd say the ZG48 wou;d be pretty good for me.:) as regards outfitting the boat i have the seat moved all the way forward in the necky and a piece of foam to raise the seat(thank you ej's playboating basics:lol: ) and i feel that its better but i will still have to track down some of them boats to try them out. well anyhoo thanks a million you guys are great help.:)
