I have a Werner, but they don't have grips either. Yak Grips could be an option, as well as I have seen some thing with either 1/8 or 1/16" minicell and some adhesive that you can use on your paddle. I tend to have a tight grip on my paddle though, but I constantly have to dip it in the water on the flats because it is too grippy.

I had the same problem with grip on my werner powerhouse. I just give the grips a rub of surfboard wax every 2nd or 3rd time I use it.
It works very well as long as you don't a bit of wax getting on your kit(comes off while paddling).

I find putting rubber grips on the shaft makes them to fat to handle nicely.

Hope this helps.

Cheers

Stuart
