I have a set of thule and they're deadly because they fit any car and can go any lenght or width!! Saves buying new bars everytime you get a new car!

They also sit like glue. 180 km/h with a boat on the roof and no worries. Good for after work sessions when you're in a hurry ;)

Congrats!!!! You must be super stoked! :P Oh, I forgot to wish you a happy b-day, hope it was a good one :)

I went and measured mine now. Mine are 132cm. Works fine for my car, which is an '05 Audi A3 Quattro. Not sure how broad your car is. I hit some waves yesterday and had an Element and a Nemesis next to each other without any hassles. So that length is perfect, for my needs  My racks stick out beyond the feet, which is what I wanted. Many racks end right at the feet. I prefer the stick out. ;)

Yea i very happy just been cleaning it for the last 2 hours ha ha. That's ok cheers yea it was good thanks.

my car across the roof where the feet would end is 104cm so they bars would over hang the feet witch is what i like for putting the straps on but my boat is 64 cm wide so 2 boat will not sit flat on my rack so i would have to look in to having a longer rack don't no if that is possible on the Thule system ?

I stand under correction, but I'm almost certain you can put a longer bar on, no problem. They are all interchangeable as far as I know...

The law is this, your top load must not exceed the width of your mirrors, so measure width mirror to mirror and get 2 cm smaller ;-)

But be aware if you overload the rack and anything comes off you are in big trouble, insurance invalidated and points on your licsence for an unsercure load so just be careful. (thats the dad bit done).

Congrats on the new motor, best freedom you can have.
