The wife and I have 6:
Wave Sport Super EZ (mine) Wave Sport Kenetic (herz) Perception Whiplash (neither of ours, doesn't fit, any takers) Perception eclipse 17' seayak (mine) Dagger blackwater 12.5 (mine that I can't get her out of) Current Designs Libra Tandem (ours) Any of you godzilla owners want to let me know about inside room on the boat, looking for river runner for me and don't fit in most ww boats. yeah really why would one person need more than 2 boats because you can get a creek boat and then get a playboat and have all of your problems solved

i dont agree. On certain rivers i like to have a boat that is comfortable on the feet but can still tail squirt. I also like it to have room for kit.

I just run everything in my playboat... There are times when I could wish that I wasn't in it, mind. Maybe I don't run enough creeks anyway.

Something that i wouldnt like to do there is a much more seriouse risks when running creeks or hard rivers in a play boat. When pinned the boat is not designed for easy exit and you will not be able to get your knees out of the boat without getting your backside out first. Also when broached your playboat could vey easily bend around you entrapping you in the boat. A creek boat would be stronger and safer.

Yeah, I'm prob. doing a spring break trip with playboating and creeking. I kinda wish i had a good intermediate boat, but i don't think I'd feel safe on it in class IV-V creeks and still have fun playboating. Thinking about sacficing a few days of playboating for safety. Any recomendations? BTW, the creeks aren't super steep. here's an example:

We are up to 4.
Jsut added a Fun 1.5 we already had a Dimension Recreasonal Boat, a2Fun and a Riot Air60 Looking to add another 5 boats so we can get the kayak club and school up and running. |

some one asked about the jk its gr8 but i find that you need a slightly more agressive position because otherwise the stern gets pulled under really easily. it is really slicey so cart wheels r easy (if you r good at them). really short stern. but a really good boat good in the aid its so light.

Just got a Mamba 7.5 & I also have a LL Scooter.
That's plenty for now but eventually I'll probably get a full on creeker as well if I ever get the cajones to run some real gnar. By the way, any other Mamba owners agree that that is one large cockpit? I haven't measured; but the skirt that I used on the Lil' Joe (boat that I sold to buy the Mamba) would not fit on the 7.5. I might have been able to put it in warm water, stretch, leave on, etc but then I don't think it would have fit on the Scooter any too snuggly. Anyone else notice this? |

I own a necky chronic and have just got a inazone 242. Had contiuous problems with last my kayak robson moonster. Wish I never sold my method air last year

sounds like some of u lot have got entire fleets. i just got a pyranha232 but looking to replace it with a jackson star.
a guy at my club has a4 fun and i couldnt belive how light it was. guess thats why they aint got proper grab handles. |

Well, I answered one for my Inazone 230....
But my dads an old school open boater....so we have 6 canoes. Yup, thats alotta open boatedness. I'd like to have a Creek Boat, a playboat, and a big water boat, however I need more ching and some more skitillz before thats really an issue. |

Just got one Bliss Stick flipstick.
I'm looking at getting a creeker now to get a bit safer on the gnarly stuff. Would also be great to be able to do overnight trips without requiring a raft to take my stuff down. |

I seem to own quite a few boats these days (relitivly speaking anyway).
I Have: 3 Surfboats (Mega Jester Cyclone, Mega Neutron and my mighty Arrocraft Surfyak) 1 Squirt Boat (Downtome HellBender) 1 Creek boat (Eskimo 2006 Salto) 2 River/Playboats (Pyranha Severn 0, Booster 55. Anyone want to buy a booster 55) A in hindsight a few less than I thought at present (I was forgetting my recent selling spree). Denzil |
