im going in november to costa rica and want to bring my jackson fun.
the company with im fling don't alow that a bring my kayak.
can somebuddy help me.

You can get your boat on some airlines that do not allow kayaks but you are taking a chance.

If you choose to take the chance and fly with an airline that does not allow kayaks then I recommend the following.
A. Wrap the Fun well and make it look as much like a surfboard as possible. Call it a surf ski and do not use the word "Kayak."
B. Review your airline baggage allowance on their website and make certain they accept surf boards. Alot of folks have successfully called their kayak a "surf ski" "like a sit on top surf board."
C. research the Costa Rica companies that rent kayaks. There are a lot of Tico kayak guides and shuttle drivers who make their living off of guiding and renting kayaks.

D. As a matter of point- you could take an older river runner you want to get rid of, and trade if for some of your shuttle costs. they want kayaks as a source of rental income, you probably have an older design you want to get rid of. Perfect.
