I was wondering if any of you had a sweet strutter helment. i am just kinda looking for some feedback on one cause im thinking about buying one.

They are soppusedly really dangerous because of the peak but i really want one.
BUT i am going to look around at other companies which have the same style helmet. |

Have one, bought it after getting a beating,
Nothing protect your head like carbon fiber! And is the peak dangerous? is [u:3df2da519e]your[/u:3df2da519e] head is tilted back at all when going down wave trains or big volume water? An expensive lid to get, but at the end of the day you only got one head  !p.s I do use a different helmet from IV+. |

i am getting a predator lee helmet. predator helmets make them check it out here www.predatorhelmets.com/whitewater.html i am getting the top one but they have not finished making them yet. i ordered mine in december and it won't be here until the 20 of this month nice looking helmet though and kinda looks like a sweet strutter but is way less expensive

The strutter is a GOOD helmet as long as fits your head properly make sure you get the right size for you! Adam Ive used all over europe in big volume and mine has stayed in place no problem! even on class 4-5 creeks n drops
AdamPersonally i think you need to cover your forehead more your protec isnt sitting in the right place to protect your head so pretty usless on a front on blow! this is looking at your photo! also try the happy2b helmets nice but yo will have to tape the velcro bits closed after a while |

I've got a strutter and really like it for playboating. I find it is one of the few helmets that stays on my head no matter how hard I get worked in a hole. A lot of cheeper helmets I've had (including Pro-tecs) slide all over the place when the side buckles under your ears move.
Needless to say it looks way cool and the brim keeps the sun out of your eyes (and doesn't catch water as you think it would). I thought it was so well made that I splashed out a got the sweet Rocker for creeking so that I've got protection around the temples and ears. |

Well I was going to use the strutter for playboating only, and then decided that it gave me more protection than my protec which I was going to continue to use for creeking. I wasn't really happy with that so gave out a load more money on the rocker.
At the end of the day you only have one head right?! Also I'm working on the river every day professionally so have a bit bigger budget equipment wise. Neil |

When i'm not playing I also paddle with a Protec. Think it's called the Ace Water. I find them super comfortable and pretty tough so far......
