at4 E glass paddle 15 years 2 months ago #29105

the AT4 E river glass shaft does anyone have this paddle and is it a good creek river paddle or are you getting what you pay for

You are getting what you pay for.
The AT4's being sold in New Zealand had what looked liked a carbon weave shaft. When I broke the shaft it turns out the shaft was made of some plastic material.
You talk about an AT4 'E' and so they may now have a different shaft.
The blade tips wear out pretty quickly but I think the shaft would break before this would become a problem.
Besides all the above I did enjoy the paddle while it lasted.

I've just bought one to a friend of mine...


And that's not good news, hope his will last a bit more.


I bought a Werner SideKick bent shaft and i love it, if your brake soon, here is a tip.
