Good trailer / bad trailer? 15 years 2 months ago #29109

A new surf kayaking DVD is out, called Interference. Check out the trailer below:
vimeo.com/2085175

Now when I saw that it didn't make me want to buy the DVD. I believe it's really good and I'm sure it is but after I saw the trailer and mentioned this I got attacked by a number of people (verbally, of course). Just wondering what other people think. I'd appreciate some input! Thanks :)

And as a comparison, check out these two trailers. I think they rock! Quite the difference. I'm getting Dream Result soon and there will be a review for Playak thereafter BTW.

I Have to agree with you, Ades. The trailer was disapointing, it gives one no real reason to watch it from a surf kayaking point of view - there are so few kayaking shots, which is the point of the film and that should be its main draw card. Not some dude, in a monkey suit.

As for the others, Dream Result looks unreal. Can't wait to get my hands on a copy. The bodyboarding one is sick too. Boadyboarders really do have a thing for AFI, I am in the middle of an editing project using the same song - gonna have to up my game.

Shot Scotty, my exact thoughts... :silly: Dream Result does look amazing... Sounds good, let me know when it's up!

Anyone else?
