2010 Easter Corsica Kayak Session

\n\n....right, I wonder why come so early...
OK. traditions is come to Corsica at Easter time.
But my thoughts is ...
Actually Easter time is various, first time I visit Corse, when Easter was at mid March, get low levels. During two weeks was 1 1/2 day of rain minuses at nights no snow melt.
Thant was OK. Might that we were too early.
Next time I was come on end of March - same... to low for Calasima and Vechio, Gravona...
Again - end of April, all time it was to chilly for snow melt. Fresh snow fields on trees looks amazing from ferry ....Last year come on end of April.
And we got rain, snow melt and cold wind on West While we move to North began some rain continues all night on morning we find Porto, Fango, Up Golo too high.
So my idea that it is worth to come more latter in "cause of global warming" snow melts later, Also I expect this year snow conditions....let say who knows!
I meet 30 season experienced paddler and he says that only severeal times he get luck for perfect conditions, also relative.
OK I'll be there to share some sweet lines.
I suggest Corsica-ferries from Livorno to Bastia, but take in account your van height with kayaks or at least be sure you can drop them all in van.
