Boat Cam 15 years 1 month ago #29276

Does anyone know a easy way to attach a camera to a kayak?

Good question. What type of camera do you have? I'm getting a head cam this week, so I'll be keen to see what suggestions people have. I'd imagine the handles combined with duct tape is a good start.

The way these guys solved it may be an option, especially if you want the camera to be high up and you don't want things to break:

Ah, wait, I see they even have special solutions for cameras:

If you're happy, you're successful.

Thanks J! I may make a small plan with a spare windsurfing extension I have lying around. Might work, just not sure if it can handle big waves though. Ah, I can't wait to start playing :P

Sticky Pod units work awesome - even worked underneath my sea kayak for underwater filming.
