Hello everyone...

I'm about to buy a new drytop, and i have some doubts.

Everyone say to me that nothing compares to kokatat, but for the price of a goretex from kokatat (400€ here in Portugal) , i can buy the best drytop from Palm plus a long john and new boots, and it still not matching the price of the kokatat.

So my question is: Does it really worths the diference of prices?? Is the Palm Sidewinder so much worst then Kokatats Rogue Goretex????

Thanks to you all

I think that kokatat makes a great hand crafted product, but I think for your money Palm has an overall more durable product with the same warranty. I have several Palm sidewinders in stock and could ship one to you for cheaper than you would expect. If you have any interest email me at [mail address protected from spambots with javascript] . I might have your size. I have used both brands extensively and use Pal exclusively now.

I've had three Palm tops, and they were all pretty good. I still use the short sleeved one although it's seen better days - but I've had it since about 2005 I think. I've also have a Kokatat Rogue since 2007 and am still using it!!! Their quality really is very good, and worth the price! Go for what you can afford. If you can, get the Kokatat :P But there is no point getting the best top in the world and being cold because you couldn't afford some pants.
