I was just wondering if anyone had ever repaired a dry bag with a bicycle tube repair kit? :) I know Aquaseal is the business etc. but was just thinking... :P

yes i have and it leaked, i now use blakwitch from diving stores = no leaks sofat but then the tair was tiny and i backed it up with ducktape

Thanks for that! Unfortunately it doesn't look like it's available here in South Africa. I'll ask a mate who used to own a dive shop though. Might be able to help me with something else. Thanks again. ;)

I'm getting those anyway but it won't repair the 3 dry bags I have that need repair... No point throwing away perfectly good bags.

Mountain Equipment Co-op sells a specific patch for dry bags by SealLine.

Just a suggestion, maybe if you stitch it up with a needle and thread, apply the glue on both sides (inside and out) and then put a patch also on both sides it should work?

Wildwasser(Prijon) sells a repair kit similar to that found with a kids inflatable pool or guest bed.
Glue and little patches come with it....
