Big video: The French 2005 National Beatdown Contest 19 years 2 months ago #3244

It started as a joke. At the beginning of last december, someone posted a message on the french kayak forum eauxvives.org and suggested that we organize a totally unofficial contest of the best crashes taken on video by the forum members during the year 2005.

The idea generated a lot of enthusiasm and the forum topic received around 500 responses and was viewed around 20 000 times! Who won is of little interest, however you too can enjoy the compilation of this 'best of" (or 'worst of') 2005, which we called CNRS (which stands for "Championnat National de la Roustasse Stylée", which could be translated to "National Beatdown (with style) Contest") .

Enjoy the videos, we are already planning another contest at the end of 2006 (maybe international this time?)

The 250MB , 30 min video can be downloaded here:

You can also see a smaller version on line here:

Don't know why but had some problems with the 250 MB file. Then got myself 'Star Downloader'. The free version. Seems to speed things up. Looks like you can stop and start downloads and generally have more control. :outahere: Go to www.mrfreefree.com and do a search, type 'fast downloads'. That mrfreefree site is pretty cool. Plenty nice toys inside. Enjoy[/size:f89a0b82b9].[/color:f89a0b82b9]

That dude who was swimming with no worries about foot entrapment... Did actually look like he was dancing or running across the river at full speed. Dangerous and stupid, but funny
