Does any of you have any recommendations? I can't seem to find anything useful on the internet.
I'm 18 years old and I have been kayaking for 9 years straight on wild waters (I was also registered in a kayaking club for about 4 years),I don't have the papers that I finished high school, which for some reason is a must in my country if you want to get the certificate and I don't have the first aid receipt yet,but there is no problem in getting it done.

Hi, there is no generally accepted certification in Europe with each country having it's own. Some countries will accept other certification but it's on a case by case basis. France is the most difficult to work in with foreign qualifications, but they will give an equivalence for the International Raft guide but only up to class 3. Would suggest mailing each countries national body and seeing if they can give you a list of recognised exams. The British system is based on "star" levels, and info on courses can be found on www.ukriversguidebooks.co.uk. Suggest this as a starting place....a) Because it's in English. b) it's recognised in quite a few european countries. Hope this helps!!
