Howdy, I am looking for opinions on the Robson Charger. I am in the market for a used/ new boat. I really like the Liquid Logic Gus. I haven't had a chance to use the Charger, but found a good deal on one. Any reccomendations or comparisons between the 2 would be great.

tried the charger a couple of times...myself and teaching others in it...

overall good boat...

+big space
+big volume
+fast
+punches well (for its size)

-no initial stability
-turns hard
-needs a strong paddler/tall paddler which keeps the boat moving

there might be a reason for the good offer, beware, that the backband used to break after a short time (i think robson will exchange this for free though) but it could also be that the charger already has a cheaper price to start of with..

i do think that robson is using crosslinked material for the charger now, so it is a solid boat...i think for longer expeditions and big drops this is the boat...unfortunately it needs to get used to the shacky bit it has once u start off paddeling...once you are on it, it drives well through the water and it is fast..very fast...

i don't have experience with any ll...so no comparison...
