this is basically just to get a conversation on the futeure of kayaking. To get it goin... does it seem like the latet gen of play?riverrunners have more of a creeking slant. The scud and especially ll crossriver come to mind, as well as the fluid spice. compared with other riverrunner like the juice and inazone, these seem much more suited for creeking, if defiinetly not made for it. Is this the future of kayking?

i Think it will get a lot more main stream and river runners (class 1-3) will be almost thought of rec boating steep creeking will be more popular and playboating will be super popular and there will be a whitewater park in every state in 20 years

i honestly cant reely see how you could improve some of the present play and creek boatsexept making them free i think kayaking will slowly deterioate because it will get too easy and only the hardcore kayak freaks will still do it

The next generation of kayaks will be a creeker/playboating combination, in my opinion. Creekers with capacity of cartweeling, looping, getting air etc.

i think playboats will get more rocker and creekers will get lower volume trying to become one but the company who stays put and keeps them from converging will stay ahead cuase i playboat for a reason and i have a creeker for a reason and i like being able to have two boats(i just got one). There will be a major revalution in the boat makeing or what it is made out of

or a playboat that can run 30 foot waterfalls or a kayak that the plastic is so solid that it can not break

[color=cyan:68b2be3af2]Kayaking will never be easy! Class 5 big water will always be what it is now. The way rivers work are not predictable enough for it ever to be easy regardless of the boat or vessel or craft or log or whatever is being used...

Changes to boat designs will not be too radical i don't think. Probably the materials they are made of though... :O [/color:68b2be3af2]

I think it will be come more popular and think it will become like the way skateboarding and other extreme sports sort of.

it will start with a few people, grow, people wont like it (fishermen) more and more places will become avalibile to do it (white water parks) their will loads of people doing it but few masters who pour their heart and soul into it.

one thing that you can do now is dig a 11'by11' by5' hole put rubber roof (can find in any hardware store$150) and a little pump($50) and you can use that for roll practise
