Ok, my french writing is a bit rusty... But i have no problem reading it, so I'm just gonna keep on writing in English.... So the lakes seem to be interesting, but do you have any specific lakes... And are there any interesting white water rivers in Ontario... Are there any kayakers in the region of the Great Lakes... I'll be getting in Ontario (North Bay to be precise) in September to attend the college there so if there's anyone there interesting in hooking up and going kayaking just post here...

Ok thanks a lot for the info... One more question though... Is it possible to rent out gear in canada or do you have to bring your own equipment....

I hate to give you a big shpeil but more than that i hate to hear you talk about canada like a small town. Canada is a huge country.... check any map. Of course you can rent kayaks in numerous places across the huge country. Duh.... Try asking something like i will be moving to wellington, Ontario do they rent ww kayaks. Sorry to make an example of you. Now that i live in america i get asked rediculous questions at school like, "do you know so and so who lives in toronto" i stare blankly, they continue " you know that city, the capital of Canada" i continue to stare but add, you know i lived in saskatchewan.... which is very far away.... capiche?

All in all, for anyone who reads Canada
-Ottawa is the capital
-there are many people in canada
-yes, we lock our doors
-no we do not live in igloos
-no i do not know you friend

Ahh that feels better to get out
have fun on the water

[quote:49ecc97c6d="Dieu"]Mr. LeDiable, don't be offended by the answer from the Saskatchewan guy, but it is very easy to find some Americans that live by the Great Lake, that don't know where is Canada. 4 of the 5 great lakes are 1/2 in Canada...
Canada is filled with extremely nice and easy going people. It is, in my opinion, one of the nicest place to live on Earth, socialy wise. Espacialy Quebec![/quote:49ecc97c6d]

You'll have to introduce me to the nice people in Quebec, I think they hide them from les Anglos
LOL

kidding....

If I'm NOT mistaken, the French River is near North Bay, so you can play there.
