Hell yeah!!!! Vancouver is one of the best big cities to live when you like paddling!!! It even has 3 rivers running right through the city! Capilano: class III, Lynn Creek class III/IV and the Seymour, class II plus the canyon, which is a IV/V. Together with the Chilliwack (Class II/III/IV), these rivers are running when the rest of North America is frozen.

Next to that within weekends reach just to name a few: Nahatlatch, Ashlu, Squamish, Calaghan, Chehalis, Cheakamus, Wenatchee (Washington state), Clearwater, Bridge, Stein, Thompson..man I can go on for ages!!

Ofcourse Skookumchuck is around the corner! Can be done in a day trip when the tide allows it!
