You mentioned BC in an earlier post, and now you say that all America's is well documentated. Give me the name of the book or site where all BC's rivers are, and you'll be a hero! (in BC as well )

Right. Luckily, besides Norway, all rivers in Europe are well documented, and the gauges can probably all be found on the internet. I must agree that the American online river guide is really good. It's probably also the continent with the best (known) whitewater, but the drives are very, very long! And there are yanks everywhere, practising their shooting at people who accidently tresspass their land ;-) (I paddled in the states only once, and a guy in a truck scared the hell out of me when I saw his cabin was loaded to the brim with guns). In addition, since you are basically an outlaw in the USA when you're from another continent, things can turn pretty bad when your health is at stake and nobody can help you because you're not American.

There are hillbillys everywhere that think they own everythiing that they touch. anywho Paddleing is great every where but it does seem everyone in the "pro" expertise is going to paddle the nile or the white nile so there must be somthing to that
