Are h2o paddles decent? how bout there kids paddle?, any good?

the plastic blade carbon or fibreglass shafts are basic but good value, if heavy.
but i have broken mine. has cracked down the line of the shaft through both hand grips. which sucks. i cant afford a new one.
but heaps of my friends use them without a problem.
so yeah go for it if your a paddler on a budget.
but there is better stuff out there

I was just made aware of this post and thought I would jump in to clear a couple of issues up.

H2O is a brand new line of paddles that has just been made available to the public ( spring 06 ). H2O has also had no failures of the shafts on production items ( at least none that have been claimed through warranty ).
H2O also carries an above industry standard 18 month warranty. We have also sold absolutley ZERO paddles into the NZ market and as such am suspect of the above post outlining a failure of one of our products by a paddler in that location.

If the paddle was purchased through a proper retail channel than please contact us to arrange a warranty exchange on the paddle in question. If the paddle was acquired through a team member ( not allowed ) or demo sample then it is a pre-production R + D unit that was not supposed to have been in the general publics hands and H2O would like it returned immediately. A reward will be offered for the paddles return if it is a demo or Team test unit.

I must admit that I like the look of the H20 paddles (mabie something to replace my trusty watersticks with) but have bbe nhaving great dificalty to find anyone in the UK that sells them or owns a pair (I want to play with some before I buy some).
Blondie do you know of anywhare I might be able to try some?

As I live in Cornwall it looks like a trip up to totness is on the cards.

I really do like the look of these paddles bu want to see some in the flesh before commitiing large ammounts of my pocet money to a set.

I would like to give the H20 padles a go as the idea of a plastic paddle and it durability for the Austrailan conditions I'm in (little to no water and lots of big rough rocks) appealed to me, How ever the price of werner paddles has drop heaps in the last little while making a D-D werner the same price as a H20 paddle.

This high price is the main reson I am staying away and sticking to werner

I got my H20 on Saturday. Ahhhh, what a pleasure. Feels great to be paddling a crank again. The paddle is really great and worth every cent I reckon. My right elbow didn't complain once on sat or sun (tennis elbow ) Has anybody else purchased one of these yet? Any comments? Questions?
