Boat Opinions 18 years 11 months ago #5794

I am in good old England and i currently paddle a G-Force 6:3 and love it apart from my feet hurt after 20 minutes. Have tried a Large Seven-O and had the same problem.
Am looking for suggestions on boats to try and peoples opinions more importantly on said boats. Am interested in the RAD 195 and Fluid Flirt Large.
I dont like liquid logics as i have broken 3 Airheads in the same place on each boat.

I know that is asking a lot and i have paddled lots of boats but i value peoples opinions.
Thank you in advance

no liquidlogics, man your missin out. Well, if no liquid logics then the blissstick or maybe a riot, i have an air and the foot room in it is actually fairly substantial. Are you looking for out and out play, or just something with good foot room?

bud, how big are you? Because the L flirt is a really big boat. If you are big then you'll have found yourself a dream boat, with lots of room for your feet. But if you're not that big or heavy you might get very frustrated throwing down all 58gallons.

Good lines

the fluid L is the biggest playboat on the market, and after that the RAD 195 is huge too. But, as other's have asked, how big are you actually? You need to be at least like 6ft 8 and 200 pounds to get comfy in that kind of boats, otherwise the proportions are creeker-like! :roflol:

I tried a RAD 195 once, and my first thoughts were like 'nice creeker for lady's' or something.. it really is BIG :p

Am 6' 2" with size 11 feet. Am around 240lb. I am after an out and out play boat as i am fairly comfortable paddling playboats down english white water. I have paddled an Airhead, G-Force 6:3, Jackson Super Star (was quite nice), Kingpin (icon and normal) 6:3, Transformer 4 (didnt like) large Seven O.
Ideas and opinions appreciated

I am 6-4 and 220 pounds and have been paddling a RAD 195 for a year or so and love it. I had a Air 60 and found that I fitted into it well but there just wasn't enough volume in it for me, I could lean foward on flat water and go into a bow stall.

The Rad is still small enough for me to through around on flat water but has alot more volume for anything on the river.

I'm 6-0 225 and love my Superstar. It has lots of room for my size 12's.

Liquid Logic Cross River or vision 56 they are nice boats i have seen most manufacturers boat break not liquid logic to date. one friends had three gforce all broken and replaced he still paddles dagger boats. Most companies have very good after sales services.

The 420 m/L is ment to have more room inside than the 7Om/l give it a try

Jackson super fun or super star are cople of the most comfortable playboats for larger paddlers. they to big for me but from what i have seen n heard people look far more comfortable and have tonnes of room yet still able to throw it down
