I am about 6'1" 215 lbs. w/o gear, 32 inseam, 10.5 shoe. Looking for some additional insight/advice on a boat. Foremost use would be a river runner, however, I would like to play or at least learn some types of moves while going down the river, surfing, etc. I have demo'ed the LL Hoss and Stretch L/XL. The Hoss was good, but I have a bigger lower torso and the outfitting didn't feel that good. The stretch felt better, but I've read on this site that the plastic is a little suspect. I can't even fit into a Necky Mission. I have a couple other boats on my list, 1) Jackson Super Fun (I've read that the outfitting isn't great) and 2) Perception Blaze 7.3 (I haven't seen any reviews on this one) Looking for a boat that I can grow into and a good beginner boat. Any thoughts or advice (is the Hoss that good?) I am kindof limited on what boats I can demo, but any advice is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Pyranha plastic is fine i have used their boats for a long time only had one problem which they sorted out they make good boats and look after the customers well. Every now and then a boat will break they are plastic afterall therefore not bombproof all manufactures use polyethalene either in linear form or cross max .

If you enjoyed the stretch why dont you stick with it they are nice boats or try the CR250 another similar boat

Yes the hoss is a nice boat a good place to start the blaze series is ok nothing special but worth a look, Also its worth considering the Booster from riot if you are after a first boat as they are cheaper

www.upandunder.co.uk/eshop/catalogue/tes...p;Description_ID=213

or look at the perception method air/ madness same price as the boosters a bit heavier but still a good place to start and gives you more money to spend on other kit and or :drunk2: :happydrunks:  :D
