I am still trying to see if there have been any photos taken of a playboater going bigger than Ruth Gordon on Hawaii sur Rhone in France this spring. What do you think?

She is going big there muchos respect! Ive seen some wave skis get big aerials in the surf but not many playboaters getting that ammount of air between the water and their boat! Right next friday im off to Austria hopefully the Reid wave will be kicking up hopefully and i will try my best but its gona be no where near that!

Surly some footage from the nile should be compairable??

There's a clip of Geoffrey on the Cuban throwing a panam, they show it in NRE bar. Thats the only thing I can think off that can compete with Ruth.

yeah, saw that one on jackson two, it s MASSIVE, :clap: :clap: i just stood there and looked at it for a bit when i fisrt saw it. theres a video somewhere online of Corran Addison doing a six foot airscrew in the surf, but the video is kinda sketchy and you cant really tell what goes on. Only thing that comes to mind.

What about the stuff on Buseater, there is definately footage that compares to this there. Also some monstrous stuff in the ocean like Corran's airscrew in End Game and the moves in New Reign by the HugeExperience kids?

But i reckon Ruth is definately going to take the Big Gun show this year.

That is most deffinatly WAY bigger then anything i have EVER seen and i have alot of kayak footage, i dont know anything that compares to that even on New Reign but i havent seen the new Dynasty and YGP seems to be the only people i can think who may have came close. SERIOUSLY THAT IS HUGE!!!!!!

he didn´t land it, so I don´t think it counts. If you swim you are out... although I don´t remember him drinking the bootie for bailing :)

I wouldnt count going off a waterfall or out of a plane the same as going big in surf. But i dunno what other people think. Either way both are very cool and the bigger th better!!

In Burning Time there are two sky diving sequences, the one in the blue boat he lands and the one in the yellow boat he doesn't (coz he can't get upright while freefalling).

:stop: This thread is meant to be about big air freestyle, not Sky diving or waterfalls. In that case it is possible that that still of Ruth is the biggest air caught on film or camera or whatever...
So can't we keep the talk to Freestyle? :pray:

Actually I got Ruth's move on video. The still is an excerpt of the video, it was shot in HD. And I think I have seen something bigger, about two weeks later at the same spot, and the same level. More soon on www.thinkliquid.net

This makes me think of this big aerial a few years ago in my Riot Tekno, at a slightly different level, but that was pretty big already :D

If you compare the length of the boat to the height above the wave, it looks to me like benjamin went higher. The boats are about the same lenght, so I would say Benjamin. In any case both of those are pretty awesome shots.
