Hi guys, I am looking to buy a set of paddles. Due to my allready sensitive wrists I am looking at cranks.I like Robson straight shaft paddles but I am unable to demo a pair of standard fibreglass blade/shaft cranks so would appreciate all feedback and suggestions. I looked briefly at Lendal Kinetic xti's on a cranked shaft. Bear in mind that I do not understand the difference between cranks and am pretty ignorant. I have about £160 to spend.
Thanks Alex

For £200 or so you could get a set of H2O-2s on a cranked carbon shaft (www.h2opaddles.com). They come with a nylon blade which actually wears better than most glass/carbon blades on the market and the weight difference is negligable. The H2Os also have a rubber grip for your hands so no need to wax the shaft and it also adds even more comfort to the wrists.

I'm assuming you're based in the UK so:
Aaron at Robinhood Watersports has a set you should be able to demo and Tom down in Totnes Kayaks should have some in the near future.

Give me a shout if you need any further info.

Cheers,
Colm
