Outfitting the Interior 19 years 4 weeks ago #7470

Hey. So I got my Dagger Crazy 88 the other week, and it came with tons and tons of foam and padding and such, but there were no directions as to how to attatch the foam or if the oddly shapped pieces had specific locations that they were designed to be placed in. Any ideas on attatching the foam?

Thanks,
mike

Typical poor Dagger DIY outfitting ;-) I have no experience speciically with the Dagger boats so don't know where what bits go where but by far the best glue to stick it in place is Evostick. It comes in a red tube or tub (buy the tub, its much more economical) and basically plaster it onto both the foam and also to the part of the boat you want the foam to stick to. The main trick is leaving the glue to dry before mating both pieces together. make sure you apply lots of downward pressure. It's doesn't take long to set but if the two pieces aren't held together firmly the bond won't be very good.

Happy Outfitting!

Use evo stick or similar contact adhesive as it will last longer, will be cheaper, wont fall out every over run or leave sticky residue where the tape has come away!
