If you want a white water harness for rivers then get one with more floatation and rescue features. check out peak uk river runner and guide vest both very comfortable. Or the astral 300 very nice if theyre in the country yet!

Some people use more than one bouyancy aid one for surf and play the other for river running!

dont comprimise your safety by using something thats not designed for big rivers!

i've got a robson akc protector, it rocks hard, i have a good range of movement, a handy puch at the front(with or without additional bouancy) and a harness, and its really comfy, and cool lookin,

bouancy is not too much of an issue, in europe, if you can fit a bouancy aid on properly it HAS to be able to float you, so dont worry, if it fits its floats!

hope this helps

yeah thats a good thing bout europe CE marks and all the rules and regs mean that buying safety kit is fairly hassle free just have too decide on how cool the thing looks and how good it is to do the job u want it to do.

got theakc protector it was comftorbal and it is perfect for me and dose all the things i need haveing the aditional boiency is grate because on flat water you dont need some thing with as much boiency plus it is good for storage can wait to get out their and give it a thrashing now
