Fin kits for Riot Glide

Fin kits for Riot Glide 18 years 8 months ago #8472

I have been trying to find fin kits for a Riot Glide for some time now. Any ideas? I found them on the Riot site but can not find where to buy and Riot is not responding to my emails or phone messages.

YEAH! They look like the ones. Don't know why I could not find em. Thank you so much. Have you used yours yet? Make much difference? What size did you get 1\" or 2\"?

My friends glide has not got any moountings for fins are yu sure youve got the holes to put them in?

If not one guy i met cut out holes in the hull and welded in future fin boxes into his pro zone so he could use surf sized fins worked really well!

For surfing go for the 2 inch ones the small rubber ones dont seem to do much but i have some spares kicking around from my tekno still unused one set of 2 inch and 2 sets of the small rubber sets if you want them £30 for the lot inc postage

they arrived today, so i went to put them on but i found the first problem with my boat...the mounts are screwed.
they're not aligned and diiferent length inbetween the holes:ask: so i dont no what to do or wether i can speak to riot and moan and see what they say?
i could always just use the front screw and do it really secure then the fin shouldnt move around.

i got the 2 inch fins because i thought wow more for the money lol.

Man that stinks. Good luck working with Riot. I have never been able to get a return call or email. Thanks again for your help.

u could glue them on for a bit more security as well as ther front hole or just drill a new one

is there anypar of the fin that aligns so you could screw it in. If you can get at least on screw in, then you could probably glue the rest on, its permanent but it works, you could try talking to riot, ive had a ok experience with them so far.

They change the spacing a while ago my friend resolved it by filing the one hole bigger you need both screws to hold them in place or they will rip out or swivel roud and snap

There has been a lot of posting on the NEsurfkayakers web site here about installing fin boxes in riot baots with LOTS of success!!!!
