just wondering if anyone here uses the riot synergy thigh braces?
last time i went paddling was on tuesday and i was really going for all the moves butfound my legs slipping out every time i went for a loop.
would these help me stay in and give me more control of my boat(riot orbit)

also im going to newquey end of august. any suggestions to good beaches for surfing?where i wont get moaned at because im in a kayak? i no of fistrel and water gate.

Ive been told that Perranporth is nicer and less crowded, its supposed to get the same break as newquay as its less than 10 miles away with a similar beach.

They look like they will clamp you good. I haven't had a chance to try them but the local rep is supposed to bring a boat or two down for me to try in the next week or two. If you can wait that long I will post my opinion on the thigh braces as soon as I have one.

too late! i got some this morning.
fitted them and didnt really no how they were suppose to go but wriggled in and they just jammed me in the boat!
they are amazing!!definately worth the £50!!!

August avoid newquay beaches as they will be way too crowded try either further north towards padstow or south down towards Godrevy (big beach kayak friendly ) could be worth picking up a storm riders guide to Europe or the UK Wave Finder books very useful
