ALOHA!

The association for a standing wave wants to build an artifial river wave in the river Limmat (more info on www.limmatwave.ch ).

Therefore there will be a political demonstration, which takes place in the river Limmat on Saturday, August 19 at 2.00 pm.

Please come and join us and bring all your friends. We want to show that there is a need for such a thing like surfing in landlocked Switzerland. We need YOUR support ! Bring along your surfboard, kayak, boogie-board or whatever you think you can surf on.

When and where
We meet at 1.30 pm on the lakeside at Zurich-Bürkliplatz. Around 2.00 pm we will paddle down the river Limmat all the way to the river bath Oberer Letten.

How to get there
There is no parking at Bürkliplatz! Please take public transport to the tram stop Bürkliplatz. Kayakers can unload there gear on the big parking lot opposite the Swiss Life Building near the lake and paddle from there.

Clothing transport
We will provide a transport for your clothes and boardbags to the final destination of the demonstration.

Participation / Legal
The political demonstration is officially permitted. We don’t take any responsability for anything that could happen during the Limmat ride. Participants must agree to that prior joining us.

Aloha,

Der Verein Stehende Welle setzt sich seit zwei Jahren für eine Surf-Sportanlage in der Limmat ein.

Darum führen wir am Samstag, 19. August um 14 Uhr eine Demo auf der Limmat durch. An diesem \\"Limmatride\\" soll für eine Stehende Welle demonstriert werden und auch gezeigt werden, wie viele Leute eine solche Sportanlage dringend wollen. Komm doch auch, als Surfer oder Kanut, oder einfach als eine, die eine solche Sportanlage nutzen würde.

Wann und Wo
Wir treffen uns am 13:30 beim Bürkliplatz seeseitig. Dann wassern wir ein, um ab 14 Uhr auf der Limmat bis zum Flussbad Oberer Letten runter zu paddeln.

Anreise
Parkplätze beim Bürkliplatz gibt’s keine! Bitte komm mit dem Tram bis Haltestelle Bürkliplatz oder zu Fuss. Kanuten können ihr Kanu beim Parkplatz Rentenanstalt abladen und von dort zum Bürkliplatz paddeln.

Kleider-Transport
Für den Transport von Kleidern und Boardbags (bitte Tasche mitbringen) zum Zielort ist gesorgt. Komm mit Surfboard, Kanu oder auch Windsurfboard (ohne Segel natürlich) oder einfach als Schwimmer, der sich bald ein Board/ Kanu kauft.

Teilnahme
Die Demo ist bewilligt, du kannst also für einmal die sonst für Wassersport verbotene Strecke runterpaddeln. Eine Teilnahme geschieht auf eigene Gefahr, wir übernehmen keine Haftung.

Beim Flussbad Oberer Letten ist die Demo zu Ende. Das 100m entfernte Dynamo veranstaltet abends eine Limmatwave-Surfer-Party. Dort kannst du noch ein Bier trinken oder abends ein bisschen chillen.
