anyone have information on the Riot Magnum 72 and is it a good creek boat:bounce:

The Riot website give lot's of good info on the boat.
I am in the market for a new creek boat am am bouncing between a fwe of them.
I have taken out the Mamba and the diesel so far.. Betwenn those 2 the diesel is more comfortable and I like it better. (but that is just me).
I have heard a lot a grat things from different places about the Magnum.
Rapid Magazine rates it the best creek boat for the season.
I have also heard that as with their other boats the plastic is soft and subject to scrapes and oil caning...
The Jefe is another boat that I am lloking into as well as the rocker.
So many choices.
For what I have heard and seen from other paddlers on the river the Magnum is an awesome boat.
Before you decide to buy one though get out and compare.
That is my plan as well.

I personally paddle a Jefe, but my friends paddle the Magnum and It seems to handle very nicely. It think it's a better design than the Jefe atleast for smaller persons. Jefe seems to be more sturdy tho.

Anyways, I would say Magnum is a good choice for a smaller paddlers (<80kg).

It should, but better to find one and try yourself!
