What it can handle really depends on your skill level. The chronic's are nice boats. They look mean due to the sytling and paddle quite well. They don't quite have the volume profile to do arials in but with an overthruster anything is possible.

I have a necky chronic. I've had it for about a year now, and i reckon its a pretty decent boat. If you ever go surfing with it you'll be amazed as it is soooo fast down the waves. It also carves beautifully, fairly easy to throw down ends on waves and holes.
I've also seen people cartwheeling it easy, i can't myself but thats due to personal lack of technique than any fault of the boat.
The only draw back is it has a lot of volume in the bow compared to the stern, so i find i can throw the stern down on flat but not the bow. Its never been much of a problem on whitewater tho, and its speed makes up for it!

Well I already bought one for like 600$ CAN so pretty a good deal for a boat with no scratches I can't wait to try it on a river

I purchased a Chronic last Christmas ( Merry Christmas 2 ME!) Although I'm not quite good enough to take it on a serious class IV I find it stable for a playboat, fast and I really like the outfitting. I'm not a real playboater but I'm getting better. The stern looks like it would be trouble in squirley water but I have had surprisingly few unintentional squirts and flips.I demo'd an EZG and had more trouble with it than I've had in the Chronic.
