I will be going to Thailand - Phuket for business and would like to take some time out for some paddling. Any ideas and contacts where to go?

Siam River Adventures are great folks -- did some FUN, bouldery Class IV with them in March (bony, start of dry season). He has some older playboats there, an H2, and a high-end NRS Maverick HP inflatable kayak. Great food and elephants just downstream, too :)

Had a GREAT day paddling with Jason of SIAM RIVER ADVENTURES.
would HIGHLY recommend them. Very Very professional (and I've done a few of these in 'foriegn' countries...)
Excellent support, throw bag lifeguards at the big drops, easy options to portage or switch to raft... very well organized.
Pick up, lunch, photos, beer, drop off, all under $100 usd... EXCELLENT VALUE.

If you are going to THAILAND, you MUST kayak in Chaing Mai!

SWEET! I hope to have another trip with them in the next year or two.
Did Jason (or is he still the owner?) say if he was selling the business soon of if he was staying?
What boat did you paddle? Does he have any more recent boats now? Or river runners/ creekers besides the H2?

Hi all

I am a french paddler, I am now located in thailand (6 month already) near bangkok. I already paddle in indonésia near bali. But I hope have a really nice creek river in the north thailand or wave??

I am really intersting about all information, if some people interesting can plan a trip beacause paddle alone isn't nice and dangerous
