What has your scariet moment been while kayaking? :skull:

I have two; the first was the first time I ran #9 on the zambezi, where I bounced off the diagnol and landed in one of the biggest holes i've ever seen, let alone experienced. Thought i saw my life flash before me as i realised what was about to happen.

The second was, when my friend Craig Rivett disappeared behind a high volume 30f waterfall. I've never felt so helpless in my life despite holding a throwbag.

Thankfully they both situations turned out ok.
What are your scary stories?

I was paddling on a creek and got beta from someone who hadn't scouted the whole rapid. I thought he had. Landed on a rock that wasn't supposed to be there at the bottom of a slide and then ended up going under a large rock that was downstream of the slide, thankfully flushed out the other side. Thought I was going to lodge in there for a second though, life changing experience for sure. AC tear in the shoulder and that was it, could have been much worse.
