I personally love My riot Air 45, but alot of people dont. i could be wrong but to me it seems like riot has developed a reputation for making high performance kayaks that only some people enjoy using because they are verry unforgiving. Lots of people hate them. This reputation is based a lot on corran addissons designs and, now that hes gone, im not sure about them.

My mom is just begining and i got her a Riot Dominatrix.(cheap) I like the way she can move the boat. although it looks like a squirt boat.

Why do you want to know? Thinking of buying one? Cos you should probably say what type you're looking for! I've heard very good things about their creekers, especially the magnum, seems very popular. I paddle an Air 60 and like it, but am a bit light for really throwing it round. Have paddled a trikster, flair 57, astro 54 and inferno 54, all of them good at what they're made for, not always the most comfortable or user friendly, but very high performance. Maybe not the best beginner boat, but certainly good boats. Plastic on the playboats, especially older ones seems very soft though, sometimes it seems like I gouge the Air by hitting the water too hard...:)

I to love my Riot Air 55 but if your gonna buy a boat you don't know unless you;ve tried one. I would reccomend using the kayaks section on playak tofind some boats that are right for your size, height etc. then demo them. Aswell as any boats your club or mates have then make a decision after that. No matter how many people you ask unless you try for yourself you don't know if your buying the rightboat.

excuse the spellinhg this keyboards fooked

I have paddled a Flair 47 and thought it was one of the most fun hulls I have paddled. Unfortunately I also found the outfitting to be the most uncomfortable I have found. I also have come to the same conclusion about their touring boat designs. Nice hulls sucky outfitting.:skull:
