I might get some crap from this one:ask:

I tested a few boats and liked the pyranha 420's

But there are only 2 sizes m-l and s-m

M-l is rated 155-220

S-m rated something to 165

Im in at 178 and 5'11\" but kind of a small build.

I always get the \" you dont like you weight that much\"

I couldnt throw around the m-l.

I could throw the s-m around and when putting it up on the stren I felt I had control over the movement. Kind of slow, and would know where it would end up.
I have had it on small waves and holes and did great.

I just feel like i am sinking it some times with running in wave trains.

I want this boat for play boating but feel if i went on big fast water that i may run into problems with being over the weight range. My t3 was getting easier to throw around on moving water and really easy on a fast eddy line.

What do you think:

Over weight and find another.

Since I only have little spots to play in around my area, keep rocking it.

hit me..?..?..

it sounds like, alltho you may like the 420, the weight range isnt your thing. If your really set on one then go for the bigger size if your going to be hitting lots of big waves, and the smaller size if your mostly messing around at holes.

why not try other boats i mean it cant hurt to look you might be supprised and find one that you were not expecting to like. this happened to me i was dead set on getting one boat went to a few shops and got talking to a bloke who pointed out a few boats that might better suit me i tried them all and walked away happy a few weeks later.

If you really only play then the smaller size is perfect. If you want to run as well then you will need more volume and the larger size is right. I paddle an EZG 50 and my wife a 42. I play in her 42 sometimes but always run and play in my 50 for the appropriate weight range.
