This is not ment to be a questionnaire but a prompt for your thoughts on the your problems you face on when you go to an event for a couple of days or however long or are just genrally away for a few days

i've posted on a few motor crossing sites and they seem a bit paraniod about getting their stuff nicked so i'll point out from the get go that if you are at all worried about saying anything about security don't tell me anything about that stuff but anything else would help


I am about to commence my major project for my masters degree. I require information relating to your outdoor sports interests. I am interested in when you are away for a few days. Specifically relating to issues and problems you have such as:

- getting to venue with your equipment

- setting up

- if your are there a few days your accommodation e.g. tents / caravans / van / hotel / b and b/ Youth hostels? what you do with that stuff? what problems does the accomodation pose? how suited to your purpose is it? whats your min requirements?

- dealing with your equiptment when there, storage security etc. For example, if your at an event for a couple of nights, overnight what do you do with your gear when it is muddy and wet? do you try and dry it? if so how

( If you are worried about giving information about security don't tell me about that stuff it only a small part of what i'm interested in)

- working on your equiptment e.g. running repairs. what do you need in terms of a work shop? do you need one? what would you want? do you just want somewhere dry to work on your bike?

- once home what do you do with your transportation e.g. if its a caravan do you park it outside your house? if you can't, why? and what do you do with it then?

please if you can help: post. Primary information drive projects such as i'm starting. your information and helps me design a better solution which quite possibly could reach the market.
