I paddle a Fluid Flirt and have recently lost the foot blocks that I had made from the foam provided when I bought the boat (drove off with them on top of my car).

I was wondering if anyone has any ideas about a foot block system that works better than just remaking the blocks, possibly happy feet?. I don't have much room for my feet but enough to make it worthwhile to put somehting down there.

From the paddlers that I run with it seems that they are split on the happy feet. Some love em and some hate em. One of my friends happy feet just started to leak as well. It seems that most of the ones I have seen do. You can tape the offending hole up but it is an extra hassle.

You can buy and carve up a 3\"x12\"x12\" block of minicell for less than $10 (US). Happy Feet are nice, but are a bit pricy @ $62 (US).
