Okay so problem #1 solved I ordered my drysuit. Stohlquist Whitewater. Now I'm wondering how do I wear a neoprene hood without getting water in my drysuit. If I put the hood under the drysuit I'm worried it will stretch out the latex, leak water into the suit, or cut off circulation to my head.

Any ideas?

I think your only option is to wear it outside of the drytop You'll probably look like an idiot:D , but at least you'll be warm.

If I was you i would not wear the hood under the neoprean seal. I tried that with my IR dry top and it turned out to be a very cold afternoon. Any water that gets into your hood runs right down into the suit.

I would recomend you buy a shorter skull cap. One without the neck coverage. You really wont notice much difference in the warmth factor.

IF your drysuit has two neck seals you could wear it in between the latex and the protective seal but personally I would use a skul cap nookie make a good one as do Peak Uk, Playboater etc
