UK Surf Comp With A Difference (Boats Provided) 18 years 10 months ago #8387

Darren Bason is holding a surf comp at Newquay in a couple of weeks but this one has a bit of a difference. Everyone has to use the same boats!
This means that the playing field has been levelled and nobody will be at a disadvantage to those with the inclination to spend £1250 on a surf boat (or those that are given them).
There are also novice and expert classes to level the field a bit more so there is no excuse not to come and play.
I like the idea behind this and think that it should provide a good fun day in the surf.

Details are as follows:

august the 12th at Watergate Bay (Newquey)

team training and competition

classes include (expert, novice, ladies, juniors)

prizes for the winners

pionts for ranking

and plenty of fun

all competitors will paddle the same plastic mega surf kayaks .

NO OTHER KAYAKS TO BE USED .
ALL KAYAKS ARE SUPPLIED BY MEGA .
SO YOU WONT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT NOT HAVING A KAYAK FOR THE EVENT
CALL MEGA OR DARREN BASON ON 01637 877864
ENTRY £10 ON THE DAY
phone in on thursday for surf forcast
