I'm wondering what to get next, a Dagger Crazy 88 or a Dagger Kingpin?

Crazy Specs are:
Length: 6' 1.25\" (1.91 m) | Width: 25.35\" (64 .4 cm)
Weight: 28 lbs (13 kg) | Volume: 40.3 gal (152 l)
Cockpit: 35 x 19 in (86 x 48 cm)
Paddler weight range: 120 - 165 lbs (54 - 75 kg)

Kingpin Specs are:
Small:
Length: 6' 1\" (1m 85cm) | Width: 23.75\" (60cm)
Weight: 33lbs (15kg) | Volume: 44gal (167liters)
Cockpit: 34\" x 19\" (86 x 48cm)
Paddler weight range: 80 - 140lbs (36 - 64kg)

Medium:
Length: 6' 3\" (1m 91cm) | Width: 25.25\" (64cm)
Weight: 34lbs (15kg) | Volume: 47gal (178 liters)
Cockpit: 34\" x 19\" (86 x 48cm)
Paddler weight range: 100 - 180lbs (45 - 81kg)

I am 15, I weigh around 135lbs, I'm 5ft 8 (and still growing) and I have size 10 feet. I'm looking for a comfortable playboat I can run 'smallish' white water in.

I'd just like to know which you'd reccomend and why? OR if neither of these, what and why?

Ash.

Crazy 88 is the right boat if you want to do arials. I find that there is lots of room in it a well. I have put customer 6 5 240 in the 6.3 and he fit comfortably. Unfortunately he was over the weight range.

defenitly the crazy 88, the kingpin is jsut the previous generation of boat from dagger, so ittl be smilar to the crazy 88 except not as good. I no someon who ahs paddle d both and apparantly the crazy 88 is much faster on a wave, bigger for loops, and carves better, or something like that. the point is that the two boat are verry similar with some with a couple of features that make the crazy a much better boat.

You should also check out the new Agent that is coming out soon. It is going to replace the Crazy 88. It looks sweet.

Yeah, why dagger? unlugged is right, i would rather have the project than the crazy or the kingpin. Also, if it must be dagger, the new Agents are comig out soon and they will probably be better tahn either the crazy or the kingpin, ut thats jsut specualtion. My sudgestion would be to demo a bunch of different baots before deciding. If ouvve already done this and have narroed it down to the two, or these are the ones that are available, go for the crazy all the way.

Right guys, thanks for the advice, I might just wait for the Agent come to think of it and it'll give me enough time to get the money up together.

Also I choose Dagger because that's what I feel most comfortale in, I've demoed a LOT of boats over the past few months and Dagger have been pretty high in my good books.

Cheers once again.

Glad to hear you like the boats. We try hard to make sure they perform well but also that they are comfortable and easy to use. As mentioned the new Agent will be available soon. It will be available in a 6.0, 6.2, and 6.4. If you want some more info I have included a couple of links to an update and an ad running in AW that shows its full potential. I was looking at theCrazy88 and the All Star . I test drove bolth and went home with the All Star. If you register on the Jackson website thay will send you the 2006 promo DVD. I like the All Star but you need to get the one you like best. ;)
